ISIS leader killed in an airstrike claims Syrian State TV

Syrian state television has reported that the leader of ISIS Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been killed in an airstrike.

The claims suggest that ISIS leader and world’s most wanted criminal was killed during a massive artillery strike in the ISIS stronghold of Raqqa.

Last week, Coalition forces carried out white phosphorus bombing campaign on Raqqa and other ISIS strongholds.

British-based Observatory for Human Rights recently reported that 13 civilians were killed over the last 24 hours.

However, this is not the first time his death has been reported. Al-Baghdadi has a 20 million pounds bounty on his head and so his death was previously reported a number of times but to no truth.

The official media wing of ISIS has not confirmed any news of the leader’s death.
